beats me i have a samsung a990 and everytime i tell it to "send" a photo it resizes it and wants to send it to either pixplace (ripoff) or to another cell... i have a memory card and that's how i get all my photos off sine the crippled bluetooth won't let it hook up with my laptop

i was looking at apple's site today at pics/movies of the iphone. i cant seem to find a shot w/ headphones or a headphone jack.... anyone think apple is going to instead of using a tethered set of headphones will go the bluetooth route thereby handling both telephone/music duties?

that's a pretty sick video, answers a lot of questions.

one thing i haven't seen yet is using the keypad in landscape mode. It seems to me it would be much easier to type in landscape mode because it's so much wider, but it would take up most of the screen. The video showed them viewing a webpage in landscape, but didn't show what happens if you hit the address bar to bring up the keypad

^^Eh, this thing won't do anything much better than my company phone PPC-6700 does, and with my part time job I have a cheap ass $20 monthly plan with VZW. So why would I want to switch to Cingular? Its nice and if VZW gets on it I may switch up if I don't have to have a data package. But I ain't paying no extra to have that shit.

i think the damn thing is tight. expensive, but i think worth it hell much nicer interface than any of the other pocketpc phones and hell a palm treo is 700p is MSRP $499 from verizon w/ a 2yr contract so i personally don't think apple is pricing it out of the market, especially give that this thing is "introductory pricing" (if you recall your marketing classes) and the people who are early adopters are defiantly more than willing to throw down the $ for what will be the most bling bling phone on the market

yeah, that doesn't make a lot of sense. AT&T would've been better off contributing some kinda of rebate to the price of the iphone and keep the plans priced the same. it would have lowered the barrier to entry for the iphone, and it would have avoided alienating all their other smartphone customers

edit: or maybe they're approaching this from the other angle - incentivize getting an iphone with cheaper monthly plans
