Tiger could EASILY be up by 5 strokes

He's missed so many makeable putts the last 2 days

Still, he's got a great shot

tiger's done. i think furyk is the likely favorite with cabbrera a close second.

He's by no means done

1 shot down with 4 to play

Just has to pull his head out of his ass.

^^ 98% of the people watching probably do, which shows something wrong with pro golf IMO.

I'm cheering for Cabrera just to be contrarian.

i disagree that that's something wrong with golf.

tiger is an amazing sports icon. if there's someone in the us that people actually -should- root for I'd say it's tiger.

Well, it's a good thing Tiger is in contention, otherwise no one would watch. That's what I think is the problem. The sport itself is a one-trick pony.

Cabrera finishes at 5 over.

well the average person wouldnt be watching i agree, but that was the state of golf 10 or so years ago. i mean there was greg norman i guess and a few others, but golf's tv appeal was really suffering in mainstream america.

but for golf fans i dont think it's wrong to root for tiger as i said, I'd be watching if he was +15, nothing changes for me excepting being excited he has a chance.

on the bright side... atleast the tv crew was nice enough to not constantly remind everyone how terrible baddely is doing, they just let him kinda hang out, which is pretty classy i think

well, unless furyk hits this, then woods is the only one left with a realistic shot at Cabrera

Why do people yell "get in the hoooolllle" on a Par 4 tee shot?

Congratulations to Angel Cabrera of Argentina. Now's a good time to tell my Argie joke I heard once:

"Argentinians are a bunch of Italians that think they're English and speak Spanish."

I never did like Cabrera. Ever since that one tournament a few years back where he was yelling obscenities the entire time and pointing and making menacing threats to people in the gallery.

More golfers should do that

How cool would it be if Vijay got pissed at a heckler and was like "You die motherfucker!" then line a 3 iron into the guys forehead Casey Jones style?
