last night was a little better, but not much. is it just me, or do they repeat the same crap from the past epsiodes for like half of the show? and if i see that damn computer generation of the truck falling through the ice one more time...

i think they get payed by weight. the top guy is at like 13k for 2 weeks.

that's also before expenses like diesel and food ect. Plus I'm sure most of these drivers don't own their trucks, so then there's that too.

truckers with exclusive contract deals make quite a bit more than that, maybe not in a six week span but it averages out quite well over say a year

i was reading an article in car and track about the ice road

the mines pay for all the trucker services and fuel to get them there

Last nights episode was possibly the only oen that really kept me entertained.

But from the way they are protrayign it, honestly I dont feel like they have much content or action, they are having to drag out every little thing that happens into 1/3 of an episode because they frankly dont have enough.

I dont feel bad for the long haired singer they shitcanned, they guy was goign 23km over, you should konw if your speeding that much over.. The guy said he was trying to make a quick buck, i would have little doubt he wousl speed.

i hope that is post expenses... my wife worked for UPS as an engineer and they had driver teams brought in for Nov-Dec (christmas rush) and they'll pull down $50k but that's w/ expenses, still much safer and easier going.
