whos dead? The eagles didnt really get better, they just changed styles. The early tracks like take it easy, take it to the limit, and peaceful easy feeling hold their own against hotel california anyday in my book.

Probably the two band that got worse in my opinion were Boston and GNR. both had record breaking debut albums and while the second albums were alright, they really couldnt complete with the originals.

it seems that many bands "middle" was their best. they started slow, peaked out, then kinda went downhill.

sure, some probably wished Glenn Frey had died during his 80s solo mess, but he's still around.

Don Henley will never die. Joe Walsh won't either.

Timmy is still on the bass, glenn on acoustic, joe on guitar, don on drums...i dont know whats goin on with felder. also, the original guys are still out there somewhere. I forget what their names were....Barry maybe on bass and the original lead guitarist who gave them that country sound....
