That reminds me of a story my dad told me. One time when he and his best friend were young his best friend had a girlfriend over at his apartment. She bent over a table and he was doing her from behind when the table collapsed, and she fell face first on the floor and bloodied her face. He decided to make it up to her by making her a bubble bath. He was a wrestler back in those days, so he was very strong. He decided to show off his strength and be all romantic and shit by lifting and carying her out of the bath tub. Unfortunately, when he lifted her out of the tub he spilled some water on the floor and slipped on it falling and dropping her on the floor. She bloodied her face again.

i had a girlfriend in college that bumped into the futon armrest when she was getting in bed and it really did look like i had punched her in the face.

it didn't help that i posted a thread joking about it.
