lol the Ice caps are already melting. They will be gone in 80 years. No need to talk about ice cream. An ice cube in a glass of water is the common analogy. As the air warms, ice melts from the top, as the ocean warms, ice melts from the bottom. The more melting happens, the more its speed increases. J curve.

I thought this thread was going to be about Richard Simmons.
But honestly, the fact that our sources of energy will become more diverse is tough for people to grasp. Everyone is so used to everything running on fossil fuels, that can't continue to happen forever. Maybe your car will run on hydrogen, and your lawn mower will run on watermelons. MMMM, watermelons.
