I didn't get into dexter until over the summer, but does anybody remember if season one had a mid-season hiatus or did they just show all twelve in three months. I'm just curious if I should be expecting a break to come up pretty soon

I am conflicted. Doakes is NOT a bad guy. He is a good guy. But since he has found Dexters secret, the audience is going to make us want to pull for Dexter in killing a perfectly good individual. I dont see Dex making it out of this season. Does anyone know if they have up'd it already for next season (in that case, I'd already be wrong)

lila will fall off the wagon and start using again. maybe commit suicide or try to manipulate dexter with the notion of it.

i really wouldn't be surprised if Doakes somehow gets pinned with the murders. He'll probably take the slides to where he lives and keep them somewhere in his home. Lundy must be suspicious of him even more so than Dexter since he just blatantly left his office during questioning. There will be some sort of search in Doakes home and the slides will be found. Of course I am probably wrong cause I never predict correctly the way shows are going.

I think her addiction is arson, isn't it? She got turned on by the fire. She commented on how she liked the smell. I think she is covering by saying she used drugs...same with Dexter.

How are we saying Doakes is not going to turn the slides in? I just watched the last episode and on next weeks episode it shows the slides in a box on the desk of Lundy. Are we thinking that doakes turns them in but does not say they are Dexter's? They are just calling him in to do the blood work?

^That would make sense. I mean if Lundy KNEW they were Dexters he obviously wouldn't call Dexter in to do the blood analysis. Also because he knows dexter lied about some blood results at one point in time.

Good fucking point, I wouldn't doubt it. She did say that the night she burned down her boyfriends house she went to her first meeting.
