I watched the first four episodes of season three last night, and although I liked the first two, the third and fourth didn't really do much for me. I think there's just too much shit going on, and I'm getting tired of the U-Turn story line. And the whole soldier subplot seems retarded

When Nancy was in talking to the DEA Captain, right in the middle of a sentence, my video jumped right to the soccer game with the ex-wife. Did I get a bad torrent? was she supposed to finish the scene with the captain?

yeah it was just some BS with making you think nancy thought she was busted, when in fact she gets the 119K and everyone is like "zomg so sorry 4 ur loss *hugs*" and the captain suggested that if nancy did know anything about shady dealings with either of the two agents and said anything or made a scene she'd lose the pension and such. Prolly a horrible summary but you get the gist.

I'm still standing by my opinion from a couple weeks ago. i mean, i guess i'm enjoying this season, but it just seems like most of the storylines have gotten way out of control, and I've lost a lot of empathy for most of the characters. Nancy, for example, used to at least struggle with trying to be a "good person" and decent mother, but now she just doesn't care about shit.... makes it hard to empathize with her.

and it feels like they keep introducing crazy plotlines, realizing they're going nowhere, then ending them abruptly: Andy's foray into the army, the whole U-Turn plotline and the heroin, killing Peter, then doing very brief cleanup with the other DEA agents. And wtf happened to Cecilia's older daughter - the one that was dating Sylas back in S1 that got sent to boarding school in Mexico. Are we supposed to believe that she was sent there permanently?

^ yeah, I have to agree. I enjoyed the first two seasons way more than this one. And, honestly, the whole "Nancy having sex with someone at the end of every episode" thing is wearing really thin.

I did like that she finally started questioning her mothering/ morals in this last episode... but really at the end it just became a way ot seducing Conrad.
