It has been redone, it was called A Perfect Murder (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120787/) and no, it shouldn't be redone. In fact, nothing Hitchcock did should ever be redone. He was a master at suspense, and suspense can't be created with extra blood and special effects.
I think really the only time a movie should be redone is if the first attempt suffered from lack of funds, the script didn't follow the book properly, or it attempted to do something that require amazing special effects not available at the time. 8/9/2007 5:49:55 PM
