UNC put together a TD drive right before the half that was helped out by a UVA late hit and a missed interception. A couple drives by UVA stalled and they had to settle for FGs. Could be a lot worse for UNC. Hopefully the 2nd half will be.

That UVA defense is one of the worst I have seen in a very long time. They dropped at least 3 sure INT's and could not tackle to save their life. They looked really lazy/slow. The DL was a better pass defense than the secondary.

yates is about all i have to be excited about (receivers too i guess), so i'm gonna pimp him while the rest of the team blows goat nuts. true the secondaries aren't great, but he's shown a good ability to either scramble or at least evade rushers long enough to buy get off a decent throw.

UVA's secondary just sucks nuts. I was at the JMU game and really, JMU could have beat them. JMU beat themselves for the most part. UNC has no offesive line and there is absolutely no excuse for any team in the ACC to let them have any sort of a rushing game. JMU was stuffing them at the line. Yates is ok, but he's got a long way to go, but it seems as though he as learned a lot already. Their receivers are ok, but average at best.
