Does Reynolds have sections with assigned seating or is it just standing room? I saw that tix are still available, so I'm thinking about heading out there tomorrow night.

It is a Co-bill with the Avetts and Guster. They will be playing in this order: Brett Dennen, Avett Brothers, and then Guster.

There will be seats, however it is all GA except for groups participating in the Pep Rally. When the Pep Rally is finished they will allow people staying for the concert to fill in any empty seats that may have been vacated by student groups.

are you positive that the avett's play second? we called the alumni association yesterday and they told us that the avett's are going on last. Not that I don't believe you, I just want to make sure so I know when to leave the bar.

I think he should go on around 8:30ish, but that is a rough estimate. It really depends on exactly how long the pep rally runs. Hope that helps.

Doors open at 7 p.m. The pep rally begins at 7:45 p.m., and the concert follows at 8:45 p.m.

Pack Howl was great this year, I was impressed by both the pep rally and concert. I hadn't heard Brett Dennan or the Avett Brothers before tonight, but I was pleasantly surprised by both bands. The Avett Brothers show was very exciting, and the crowd really got into it. Guster, who I have seen before and were the band I came to see, also put on an awesome show.

I dont know about you guys, but i felt like Brett Dennan's set was just the same boring song over and over again while he sang lyrics that didnt match the muic and did some sort of chicken dance with his knees. Very forgettable, and its a shame that time was used to give the Avett Brothers and Guster more time.

The Avetts were awesome. I still can't believe I went to high school with those guys.

The actual concert was horribly managed though. We got there early and got seats down on the court. After the first band, my girlfriend and a friend left to go use the bathroom. When they tried to come back the Event Staff told they couldn't back in. They said they were sitting down there before and their purses and jackets were still there. The guy said "And how is that MY problem?" So they kept walking around until finally they somebody working the door with some sense that let them back in. Even though not even half the floor space was full when the concert started they stopped letting people down on the court. Also the fact that did not have any drinks or food for sale for a 5 hour event blows my mind.

The sound was horrid at the beginning of the avett's set and it kinda got better but never got to where it should've been. Seth sounded like he was maybe losing his voice, but his mic was too low all night from where i was sitting.

That being said, they played as great as they always do...always a pleasure watching them.
