I'm really hoping for some good fight scenes in this season. In that one episode of Season 1 set in the future when I think Sylar was in the hallway and Peter flew in and they both looked at each other and started powering up or whatever, I was like "Hell yeah here we go" then they fucking closed the door and all you could see was all that light from the crack. Then finally on the season finale they start fighting but it's all lame. I really wanna see Peter just go ballistic with all his powers.

btw any ideas (outside of the obvious explosion) as to how Peter gets his scar?

I really doubt that Peter will get scarred like he was in the future.

First of all because he has Claire's Regeneration...secondly because that future will not come to be...so we probably won't see a relatively badass Hiro with long hair in the black Trench.

That said...I'm still wtoked about this season.

For the record I think that Peter can only use one of his powers at a time...I can't recall ever seeing him use more than one...that being said I think Nathan just chucked Peter and bolted the other way once they got high enough.

the nine original (and wealthy) members of the group that would find heroes. mrs. petrelli and linderman were part of the group that wanted the bomb to go off...hiro's dad was part of the group that didn't feel that killing innocent lives for some common goal wasn't such a hot idea. petrelli's father, also dead, was part of the bomb group as well. there's probably others that went to the good side...and there's probably some loner (molly's "boogie man" perhaps?) that would rather see them all dead.

I am glad to see alot of the cast back for this season. I'm just curious what happened to Peter?

This first episode was kind of anti-climatic though. They should have stuck Sylar in this episode somewhere.

Do you guys think there is a possibility that Peter could be Kensei? I know it's a long shot but that might be a good plot twist since everyone pretty much expects Hiro to be Kensei.

Also, they still have been really secretive about the origins of the symbol that has been popping up all over the place. The earliest we know of it to exist is 1671 since it was on honkey Kensei's sword.

The big question though is wtf is Peter doing in a cargo crate in Ireland. He obviously doesn't remember anything so maybe he encountered the Hatian? And he definitely doesn't remember his powers or he could have gotten out of the handcuffs/cargo crate about 10 different ways. btw I'm sure everyone else noticed too but he was wearing a necklace with the S symbol on it.


edit - oh yeah and wtf happened to Nathan when he was in the bar and he looked in the mirror? It looked like Peter was looking back at him but his face was all fubared.

great episode. excellent set-up for what looks to be another awesome season of Heroes. new storylines opened up and older ones expanded on in a really creative way.

it left me wanting to see the whole season right then. so it did its job.

at first, I was like: WTF?! is this Nissan bullshit, but I would much rather be inundated with nissan's bullshit and have shorter commercial breaks than a commercial every other second. besides, I have DVR so the only nissan shit I dealt with was when Clair got her new car: a ROGUE, YEAAAAaaAAH!!!

So glad Heroes is back. And DVR is beautiful... no commercials whatsoever.

As far as the high school scenes, I think they were necessary for the development of Claire's character this season.

Stoked to find out more about the Latinos & that Kristen Bell is joining the cast. Although, there's been so much hype about KB joining I was suprised she didn't appear in the first episode anywhere (or did I miss something?).

Mohinder and Mr. Bennet working together to bring down the company seems like it'll be a cool plot line though.
