i liked it - thought it was well rounded. I really like how they give so much of the cast good face-time. Kevin talked a lot more and was good.

but yea this episode wasnt funny but it was partly b/c they had to tie up the loose ends from last season and setup the starts to this season's plot lines, so i foresee future quality

meh it was an ok episode, i forsee a new threat to michael's job with Ryan at the helm, and maybe they're going to try to go somewhere with dwight and angela's relationship this season. I think Creed saved the episode on several occasions and andy drafting kevin made me laugh. It was still good, I laughed out loud on several occasions, which I don't do too often.

I found this episode on par with most episodes…which is to say it was good. I mean if you try to rate it against all the humor you recall from last season, then I could see why, but if you take it as an individual episode, it brought the funny on several occasions.

They are really good at doing a sort of uncomfortable humor, which I thought they brought on strong with Dwight and killing the cat. Unfortunately euthanized cats don't get into kitty heaven.

Angela being so upset over the cat, but still able to roll her eyes & scoff at pam for being more of a dog person was great.

Yeah, when I saw that I knew I'd be in for a good episode... but that was the last thing that was really funny. A sub par episode IMO.

^^^ sure, everyone can have an opinion, but with The Office and other hit shows, it seems like some people are never satisfied, especially at the beginning of new seasons or when they try something different. The litany of "it's gone downhill every year since season 1" is tiresome. but at least no one has compared it to the British version in a while

I actually wished they would have just done two 30 episodes. The break right at 30 minutes along with the little TV symbol at the beginning of the second half took me out of the feeling this was a longer episode.

But besides that I really liked the episode. The jeopardy line was great.
