the wolf is marko's baby.

and they've been about 100x more responsive than jake was in recent history...it's mostly been kinda behind the scenes stuff. they seem to be pretty much intent on letting the mods run the site--they just provide the admin support to facilitate it.

I can't find the threads, but sometime this past spring another, vaguely similar website tried to open for NCSU, having already done the same for other campuses. They sent out mass-emails about it, and when some of us checked it out, the place was wretched. So, we got together and destroyed it, both by spamming and the sort of unrestrained mockery that cuts to the quick. Eventually the site's owner e-mailed one of us and surrendered. It's been down ever since.
