To be fair...you don't know that.
You can set your privacy settings so that you can't be found on search. For a long time, that's how mine was, after something was published in the Tech that I explicitly told the reporter not to (but her boss made her).

I've changed it some, but even now, if you search my first or last (very unique) last name, I will not show up in the results.
