This seems like the one place where we have an advantage on most teams? With Blackman returning and Hauschka, who hasn't missed a kick, we are solid even at punting with Pierson now.

Also someone talked about turnovers, we have lots on offense obviously, but our weak defense hasn't helped itself at all by forcing turnovers either. We haven't recovered a fumble or had an INT all year outside of Wofford it seems.

^It may be a couple dollars, but there are buses that run from there to the stadium pretty regularly, so it's probably not a bad place if you're coming in from out of town and not familiar with the area. If you're ambitious, you can walk to the stadium from there, but it's probably a 30ish minute walk.

I don't know his net average, but I know the team calls him "Sticks" b/c he sticks it inside the 20 quite often. Like around half of his punts have been downed inside the 20 or something. The ESPNU commentators were talking about it during the last game.

Hopefully our staff looks closely at the tape from last year's game for the offensive game plan, and hope Dunlap and Bowens can have a great game catching jump balls. You have to be able to punish FSU when they go to press defense and one-on-one man coverage on the outside, which they certainly will.

I also think Ced Hickman could be a surprise playmaker for us at the fullback position, if we can sneak him out into the flats on a couple playactions. We also need to establish something of a running game, even if its just 3 yards and a cloud of dust to keep them honest.


Realistically, I worry that we will only use a short passing game, and never punish the Noles for bringing everyone within 5-10 yards of the Line of Scrimmage. If this happens, we could see a lot of turnovers and another ugly game for the Pack offense.

Defensively, our DL needs to step up and contain Xavier Lee. We should also use an LB as a spy. Our biggest weakness has been covering the flats, and we need to tackle much better. In the red zone, use a safety over the top of Carr.
