AMAC...lol I played on that green hope team, I just remember after the game all of us screaming I can't believe we won, I can't believe it. That was a really good game.


Lowest moment for me was sitting in the UNC alumni section for the State UNC game 2 years ago, TA getting the touch down...then them taking it away.

ha, the playoffs that year were awesome

one of the highlights of high school for me was going to that championship game, jordan had a pretty sick keeper and he was on top of his game that day

My worst moment personally was my senior year in high school (1995) playing on a club lacrosse team in Greensboro (before lax got into public schools in NC) against Charlotte Country Day (used to be them or Durham Academy winning the state championship each year).

I was the starting goalie for our team (and was actually good enough to get recruited to play college ball after some Top 150 camps) and after the first half we were trailing 6-5 - the closest we had ever been CCD in 4 years of playing. Our team was clicking and people were having monstorous days on the field.

As we head to the hlaftime break, our coach tells everyone he's putting in the backup keeper for the second half. His rule was that since it was a club team (we all bought our own equipment, drove ourselves to practice and games, etc) everyone gets to play. Well the backup was shit for lack of a better word - he showed up when he wanted to and always blamed his stick for his shortcomings (I shit you not, he probably went through 5 sticks that year because they were "all crap"). At that point, everyone knew we were done for and came out flat. My backup allowed 13 goals in the second half and we lost 19-something. I don't even remember our final tally...I just sat with my head down for the second half.
