I don't think I'm better or smarter than you. I believe you have the capacity to make decisions based on information presented before you. But I also think you're stubbornness prevents from making the best decisions for whatever reason.

I'm not a huge fan of what the Democrats are doing, but I think they're 1000% times better than the Republicans. The corruption, manipulation of the American people, scare tactics, inhumane acts perpetrated against other nations, handouts to their friends... I mean, how many times are you gonna put your mouth on their genitals because you're on your knees after they kick you in the balls? How can you fail to see how bad these people are and the lengths they will go to in order to stay in power? What will it take? At least when the Democrats lose they do it with some shred of moral fiber left and most of the time they can say that they played the game fairly without resorting to some of the tactics that Republicans do. Republicans are the biggest group of two-face liars on the face of the Earth (followed by Democrats). They claim to be against gay marriage and other homophobic policies (which shouldn't be a governmental issue in the first place), but I think we've all learned where they stand in reality (Foley, Craig, many others). They're so concerned with maintaining a death grip on their power that they will break all the rules in order to do it and that scares me to be honest with you. I do not want them leading my country. Democrats are by no means the end-all-be-all of politics, but there is no doubt in my mind that their principles and motives are more sound than Republicans. All recent evidence points to that conclusion and if someone can't see it, it's because they don't want to.

The problem with the term "Islamo-fascism" is that it isn't fascism that these people are preaching, its theocracy. Yes there are parallels, but it isn't quite the right word. The other issue I take is that the Republican Party, in its current "neocon" based manifestation is far more "fascist" than the "Islamo-fascists" they so loudly rail against. So it smacks of hypocrisy.
