Three songs I found:
I specifically looked up "Fake Plastic Trees", as it was mentioned a few times in the thread and I hadn't heard it.
"High & Dry"
"No Surprises"

They were among the first few results... and if you can't tell by now (I've said it enough times already), I haven't heard all that much of their stuff, which is why I've seen virtually no variety from them. What I know of Radiohead has roughly the variety of a Pink Floyd album, and it's pretty discouraging to someone looking them up when the songs they find are so goddamn similar.

but saying all their stuff is slow is just dumb as shit, if you're not going to actually listen to their music enough to know that all their stuff isn't slow, then what the hell."

Wow, are you fucking blind? Or do you just have comprehension problems? I never said ALL their stuff is slow, I said everything I'VE HEARD from them is slow. They're good musicians, and I'd like to see how they sound doing something other than a slow, flowing song with waify lyrics. Which is why I came into this thread asking specifically for that. Please give me a reason to like this band, as all I've found by wasting my own time is stuff that sounds the same as everything I've heard them do before.

I like how this guy admits he has no idea what he's talking about and keeps arguing. That's classic.

Also,

^^^I didn't say they sounded like PF, don't think that for a second. I meant that looking at the songs of theirs I've heard, there is almost no variety. Ever listened to a Pink Floyd album? Everything is basically the same feel, with one or two songs that are changed up just slightly. It's the same way for the Radiohead music I've heard.

Stop saying I don't know what I'm talking about. I already said that, anyway. That's WHY I am STILL asking for someone to tell me something that is a different style from those three songs that I posted earlier. In summary, prove me fucking wrong by posting a piece of music instead of telling me I don't know shit about a band I hardly listen to and don't care about.

Hello and welcome to 2000

It's not like that was the only sample in the song, though.

I'm aware of what you said. but you act like you've listened to tons of their stuff.. "they're good for occasional easy listening" or something... then you talk all this shit.

I'm sure I sound like a stereotypical pretentious radiohead worshiper, but i can't stand people wallowing in their own ignorance.

you haven't heard much of their stuff?

LISTEN TO THEIR FUCKING ALBUMS FROM START TO FINISH before you come in here talking shit...

I'm sorry, I didn't realize. Next time I'll just assume that you're going to assume things and be sure to explicitly tell you not to make baseless assumptions.

If I've got a sample group of songs that sound for the most part similar, then statistically, their other stuff is likely to also sound similar. That's a perfectly normal conclusion to make, and given that, I'm not going to be going out of my way to look for more of their stuff... unless someone specifically gives me other songs, which is why I came in here asking for that.
