Well I am Methodist and the fellow Baptist school peers said that... Well at the time I was still finding myself so I didn't know that it was normal.

^x9 Yes, Catholics have lock-ins. Ours were held in the school, consisted of dinner and a movie (rated G) in the cafeteria, then different all-night sports in the gym, and perpetual roaming of adults.

Nothing remotely interesting happened at ours, boys and girls weren't even allowed to lay down next to each other, the "sleeping area" had an adult sitting there and boys on one side girls on the other.

I also did youth leader trips, where we'd go to different churches in the area for a week or weekend and learn about good, fun, Catholic games to play in our youth groups.

I never went to a lock-in... but when I was like 14 (I think it was 14.. I was going to be a soph so yeah) we went to New Hampshire for a church 'retreat' thing.. basically all I did was drink beer (don't ask how we got it b/c I don't remember) and play hockey on a frozen pond. I honestly don't recall doing anything that had anything to do with religion.

And yeah, I know a few people who got their first bit of action on that trip... Catholic girls ftw.
