How come no team in the ACC runs the spread offense? We are the only major conference that doesn't have a team that does. Go figure the 1-8 BCS record...

Look at the teams who consistently win their bowl games and are competing for the title this year. Florida, WVU, Mizzou, Kansas, Oregon, etc... LSU is the only team that doesn't run a straight spread even in the title race still and they have superior athletes at nearly every position..

Both of these teams playing tonight have no chance at winning a BCS game. Va Tech is the most likely.. I hope they somehow win the conference.

If West Virginia wins out, Pat White should absolutely be a frontrunner for the Heisman. He IS that team. Slaton hasn't been nearly as good and w/o White, WVU is probably a 3 or 4 loss team right now... with him they are one well-timed loss away from a National Championship appearance.
