Killswitch and ETID were lame. The crowd was lame. Sure they sang along, but they were all douchebags, marines, kids, or any combination of the above.


Dillinger Escape Plan was fucking sick, however. I've wanted to see them since high school. They are incredible.


Sure thing, I hear people hating on them during and after the set.

I thought KSE killed. The crowd was singing everyword and there were at least two people crowd surfing at a time... lots of moshing or whatever. Exactly what I expected.

I was less than impressed with Dillinger Escape Plan. I thought the music was ok...But then again, I'm not a big fan of music when I can't understand a word of what the "singer" is screaming about in a high pitch.

^Yeah I agree completely. I was up front for KSE and there was plenty of moshing, crowdsurfing, and singing. I liked DEP's intensity but they just don't sound good to me. I have tried to get into them but in the end it sounds like loud noises and screaming. There were a few good parts where they seem to have a groove that were pretty sick though. But like he said, different strokes for different folks.

^^,^^^ dillinger is ridiculous and always has been because of the machinelike way they pump out songs with insane time signatures/time changes without skipping a beat while still going nuts.

ive never seen a band live that pulls it off like dillinger can. one of THE best live bands EVER

Yeah I recognize that they are talented but I just have not been able to get into them yet. I'm still trying though, I have a lot of their material to go through. Their singer is nuts and fucking huge.
