Lez Zeppelin is a 4-dyke tribute band to the real thing. Jimmy Page already said they can't do anything until at least September cause Plant is touring with Alison Krauss.

i'm liking the lineup a lot. not crazy about the headliners, I've never been a big pearl jam guy. I'll see them and metallica though. I'm kinda confused about who the third headliner will be, I hope to god it's not Jack Johnson. Hate him with a passion. I would guess Metallica headlines friday, PJ on saturday, and Phil Lesh and friends or allman bros. to close it out sunday night...

I got my ticket at 10:04 the day they went on sale and the first tier was already sold out, though my roommate who got her ticket 30 seconds before me got into the first tier.

a couple of fucking awful conflicts for me that I could not be more upset about.

namely !!! vs Raconteurs

!!! is one of my favorite live bands, but I like the Raconteurs a lot live as well, and their recent live shows are getting silly good reviews, plus I just saw !!! at Langerado. But on the other hand, if I saw !!! I could stay up close for M.I.A who I also want to see. FUCK.

then there is My Morning Jacket conflicting with MSTRKRFT, Tiesto, and the Superjam.

the worst thing about these festivals is the fact that the bands are only allocated a certain amount of playing time which almost always ends up being shorter than what the band and their fans are used to (unless you are one of the top bills for the show).
