MegaBite had a decent one. it wasn't traditional, more like the Steak Hoagie, but it was big and thick 12/5/2007 11:45:59 AM |

Best Steak and Subs at Crossroads used to be ok. Then they switched owners and now I hear they're horrible. They were never great and their prices were steep, but on par for a cheesesteak in Raleigh I guess. 12/5/2007 11:47:26 AM |

Pat's and Geno's are tourist traps...the steaks are marginal at best.
Tony Luke's is the way to go for steaks and roast pork sammiches.
On a wine and cheese note, the Independance Brew Pub at the Philly Convention Center has an EXCELLENT cheese steak made with filet mignon tips. 12/5/2007 12:37:55 PM |
