i am saying when fast was first created it was designed as fast lunch food or somewhere for a date. it has grown into more or less just what it intended - a place where you buy cooked food in a hurry. this by no means means that it for the poor. the poor can't eat out, they have to go grocery shopping. i mean sure the poor may mostly likely eat a fast food place, i would assume, but saying that fast food is for poor people is just plain ridiculous.

Its for poor people when its a 'destination'. Poor people get geeked up about going to Burger King and plan their day around it. Its a highlight for them. Its different if someone is just in a hurry and wants to grab a quick lunch.

I've seen poor people plan their week around a fast food meal. People I grew up with know they're going to KFC on Saturday night and talk about it all week leading up to it. Thats poor people fast food.

If I'm late and hungry and I see a Wendy's, I might pull in for a number 6.
