It is a new team in the sense that almost everyone has been given a new role or identity within the team, but that is no excuse for what has happened.

On the coaches show last night, Lowe talked about the missing piece being an emotional leader on the floor. He talked about Engin and how he filled that role last year. I feel like if we can get Grant to step up and set the intensity for the rest of the guys, that we could be a good team this year.

Although the results have been terrible, I feel pretty good about Lowe still.

^^ exactly. and as it was pointed out, the team seems to be trying to get the ball to hickson more than it is trying to win games. this is new, and obviously not working. yes it is a dissapointment. yes they are playing shitty. but no, no one should be fired and even if that is just a joke, its fucking retarded.

i just think its funny that people were all up on sendek's back so much that he left. he left an acc school at his own will for arizona state, because fans, critics, etc. were giving him shit about being a bad coach. and now that lowe has a rough start to what was expected to be a great season, the same people who screamed for sendek's job are giving him the same shit and even have the nerve to say "i want herb back".

I wasn't excited about the Lowe hire. But I don't think is time to really evaluate him yet.
