If you are only basing it on the number of NCs, then Yale is the best college football team. 12/13/2007 1:45:42 PM |

you have no fucking clue what you're talking about, you obviously never really gave a shit about college basketball growing up
Carolina has been to far more NCAA tournaments than Kentucky and UCLA (they still hold the record with 27 in a row)
Carolina has 16 final fours, UCLA 17 (but thats just because UCLA in the late 60's, early 70's was the only west coast team really worth a shit, and all the highly recruited talent out there obviously wanted to go to college in Los Angelas, it was a monopoly)
Carolina has the most alumni in the NBA greatest 50 of alltime

If that was an impressive statistic then everyone here would have been completely content with Herb.

Hahaha! If you're talking cricket, it would be Australia (1995-present) or the West Indies (70s-80s).
I'd say Australia - 3 consecutive World Cup wins (they have about a 20 match unbeaten streak as of now in the World Cup)
As much as I dislike them, how about Real Madrid?
30 Spanish league titles, 9 European Cup/Champions League wins.

no
cameron, bradley, bubas, and whoever the coach between cameron and bradley was, won a ton of southern conference and acc championships
and bubas took them to two or three final fours in the sixties
they weren't ucla, carolina, kentucky, kansas, or even state, but they certainly had some good teams12/17/2007 2:04:57 AM |

My point is that if you drew a given year out of a hat for UCLA, UNC, Kentucky, or Duke then Carolina would have a better chance of having the better team
Like I said earlier, UCLA, Kentucky and Duke all had SEVERAL years when they were below average. UNC has had ONE 12/17/2007 9:46:11 AM |
