Well if you have given her a reason to not trust you in the past (like you've cheated on her either emotionally or physically) then it's going to be hard for her to trust you as easily this time.

however, I would say if you're sending "playful" texts to someone that can be a sign that something is going on, even if there isn't anything going on.

Out of respect for your gf you shouldn't have "playful" text conversations with other women for the simple fact that she may find that to be a emotional affair.

If you show her some respect and chill out with the texting with that chick then I'm sure she will show you some respect and trust you a bit easier.
I'm sure you would be a little curious if you saw "playful" texts in her cell phone.
