His contract is so insane that the Cardinals have to do something with him before the season starts.

^^ I don't know if TO and Moss on the same team is really that great of an idea. Sure, if they actually get along and don't mind sharing the spotlight with each other then the Cowboys can go ahead and get their popcorn ready. But, this is TO and Randy Moss we're talking about. The only worst receiver combination (for egos and chemistry) would be TO and Chad Johnson.

I don't think Randy Moss would take a deal from the Cowboys.

The Chargers really should make a play for Moss.

LT(with Neal blocking), Gates, Moss, Chambers, VJax, talk about a solid O.

Seeing rumors that the Bills have traded a 3rd and 6th round pick to the Jaguars for Marcus Stroud.

I'm still kind of surprised that the Chargers have the most cap room, yet they aren't seen as players for any big-name acquisitions. I thought they'd at least look at an OL or S. They don't have a 2nd round pick so I'm not sure that they can get a lot accomplished strictly through the draft.

With the exception of an OL (although they got better towards the end of the season) I don't think the Chargers need to sign any big-time players at any of the positions.

They just need to add depth and/or maybe a starter at the LB, OL, and secondary positions.

Randy's apparently back in New England

Kinda wanted to see him play alongside TO

They would probably try to intercept passes intended for each other

Cleveland has made a shit tone of moves. Should be interesting to see how they play next year.

The Raiders have also grossly overpaid for two less-than-average players. Al Davis is an idiot (whats new?).

The Browns will at least be good in Madden

Anderson handing off the Lewis and throwing to Edwards, Winslow, Stallworth and Jerravicious

plus Cribbs returning kicks

I ROFL'd when I saw ROFLisbergers contract

Not sure how it compares to other elite QB's but 36 million is Garuanteed...I think Peyton and Brady got more up front

If I were Alge I would send a nice "Fuck you, thanks for a shitty contract" note to Mike Vick. That guy was one of the best tight ends in the league three years ago...but Vick's horrible passing and then criminal acts left him with horrible stats and incompetent QB's to work with last year.

Now he gets to go another team with a running QB who's a shitty passer?? Tough luck for Alge. Maybe Vince can get him the ball better than Vick did his last year or two there.

fuck, if VY can hit Bo Scaife, he can certainly get Alge the ball.

Alge actually did well when Vick was passing to him

Similar situation in Tennessee, where they have no real good wideouts so he will be the number 1 target

And for scrambling qb's like Young and Vick, Crumpler is easy to find when you're running around, so he gets a lot of catches on broken plays

I think its a good fit for him, but I agree that last year situation and resulting statistical decline cost him some money

I don't think this was anywhere either, so I'll go ahead and write it down even tho I'm sure most of you have seen it..

Warrick Dunn was cut, the Falcons signed Michael Turner. 6 years, $34.5 Mil

And according to the front page of ESPN Moss is close to a 3 year, $27Mil deal with the Pats..

^ Moss' contract with the Pats is now complete. I was hoping to get that asshole out of the AFC East.

Well now we get to hear ESPN talk about what a great signing and how great it is to be Pats fan up until the draft.

Will the Pats sign/draft another WR...or do they have someone to step into Stallworth's position (Gaffney)?? I know his stats weren't close to Walker's or Moss's...but he made some HUGE plays for them this year.

neal's been released

and as someone mentioned, the chargers aren't doing much because they're only adding depth -- returning 20 starters (and the 2 replacements, weddle and pinnock, are already on the roster) -- definitely need to pick up OL in the draft though...

i miss turner the burner already glad he was able to cash in though

I think San Diego will be fine with Sproles as their "change-of-pace" back. Hopefully they can get a fullback with some decent running ability who we can put in for some short yardage situations.

all I gotta say is that the Browns offense is gonna be SICK next year. It'll be one of those "fuck defense, we're going to put up 40 and hope we outscore you" type gameplans

^ Doubt that since they just spent a lot of money and draft picks revamping their defensive line.

Sproles is a lot of things, but a "change-of-pace" back when the other running back is Tomlinson is not one of them.

Meh...I think Sproles is a definite change of pace back over LT. As quick and as fast as LT is (although it looked like he might have lost a step last year)...Sproles is quicker and faster. And he's soo tiny..he hides behind those big tackles and flies through when a whole opens up.

LT doesn't make that catch and run against Indy in the playoffs last year.

The Browns were 10 game winners this year, with NO defense, less offense, and a (pro bowl) QB in his first year starting. Just saying, it's not looking too bad

hahaha

Raiders agreed to terms with Javon Walker on a six-year, $55 million contract, with $16 million guaranteed. He'll make $27 million in the first three years.

Al Davis has lost his mind. Even Walker's old coach Mike Shanahan said the receiver eventually needed microfracture surgery on his chronically sore knee. No one else was bidding for Walker, and many teams publicly denounced any interest. Walker gained 57 yards on seven catches in his last five games last year, and barely seemed able to run. Perhaps he'll recover, but Walker isn't worth Randy Moss money even when healthy. Like Moss' deal with Oakland, this one could end ugly. Mar. 4 - 10:34 pm et

decent moves by Atlanta... now that I live here (and they are Vick-less) I am finding myself slowly becoming a bit of a fan... but they have to get rid of that fucking dickbitch Deangelo Hall first...

maybe the only hope for deangelo hall is not having to play against steve smith twice a year. although getting chad johnson twice a year isn't an improvement.

See this is what I have some problems with... One, you have some people talking like they "know" the Chargers... WTF is that at most you have been fans for all of two or three years... the good years. Two, some of you have said Michael Turner was this and that for our team well, this year a total of 77 carries... he really wasn't all that. Three, its easy to like or be into a team when they are winning... but where were you during the Ryan Leaf, stan humpries and Natrone Means days... oh yeah prob. liking a winning team.. Fourth, this is the an above average class of RB to draft from.. if the chargers need one they will get one... one more thing to get LT is in his 8th year.. I have broken down some of our needs below,

Needless to say the Chargers team based on Aj Smith is a team that was built on draft picks not free agency... except that of Chris Chambers..for our WR issues... we have Vincent Jackson.. a tall young WR who gives difficulties to small CB or S... Chambers has hands... Buster Davis.. it will be interesting to see how he develops, can he stretch the field and make big plays?! I dont know.. also one must not forget we do have Eric Parker returning from injury.. so do we need to address WR... the answer is NO.. We will draft an OL man within the draft.. to add depth.. On the defensive side of the ball we are strong... Cromartie has developed nicely in his second year.. after all he was our 1st round pick.. it would be nice to see us draft a safety.. but really we should be fine as long as we continue to bring pressure.

Chargers picks seem to be this
RB my prediction Felix Jones or Ray Rice
OL
S
DE

I'm feeling like my Jets have really helped themselves out, especially with the Alan Faneca signing. Maybe Kris Jenkins just needed a change of scenery to get in shape. They really seem to be trying to fill the holes on the O-line (also signing Damien Woody), which us Jets fans know, was a gaping hole last season.
