Not recommended. I bought a used tablet PC for $400 and its better than my $1500 laptop in terms of functionality. These things go down in price so quickly, besides you can get a heck of a laptop at BB/Circuit for under $800 why waste the money. 1/4/2008 7:26:25 PM |

Hell, I just spent 1500 on a couch. Do you think you'll enjoy your laptop for year's to come? Will it enhance your computer using experience? If the answer is yes then I see no reason not to spend the money on something you'll enjoy.
I always figure that if I'm going to buy something I may as well buy something I'm going to really enjoy for a while or something where you can really tell where the dollar difference is. This is why I won't ever again buy cheap toilet paper, cheap shoes, cheap furniture, etc. If your $1700 laptop is going to be enjoyable and the difference between that one and the $1000 is noticeable to you every time you open it up then fuck it, it's only $700 in the long run on something you'll use every single day. 1/8/2008 12:35:38 AM |
