^^yeah i'd love to go to olive garden, but it's gonna be a friday night at 7pm = everybody in winston at olive garden. they don't take any reservations or call aheads

figure out if she likes balsamic vinegar and oil or crushed herbs and oil better

off topic but related... cinelli's is pretty good most of the time
i would probably pick that over both choices when going for inexpensive italian

carrabba's > macaroni grill > johnny carino's > olive garden

i LOVE italian (gf's mom's whole family is 100% italian too so ) and worked at carrabba's for 2 years in charlotte too. never got tired of eating there for half off haha. (or free while working ). for a chain it doesnt get any better than that place.

Pasta Carrabba dish FTMFW.

Ive never been disappointed with a dish at 518 west in downtown raleigh either, only been 3 times tho.

oh and btw, my gf's mom who, like i said, grew up living and breathing italian cooking from the time she was a little girl likes carrabbas but none of the others i listed.
