^^^ thats odd, I thought Scott Pioli was in charge of player personnel...and Moss wanted to go there, i am sure plenty of other teams would have taken him if he would have gone there. It not like he was sitting at home waiting by the phone and the Pats were the only one to call

Being a homer but Jeff Fisher has done a lot this year with a team that isn't as talented as their record. He won't even be mentioned but there are not many coaches who would have gotten that team into the playoffs this year.

^^ I'm pretty sure Brady has taken down Manning's TD record so you can go ahead and STFU. I'm not going tp argue with you. If you don't think Belichick is coach of the year then you are one stupid mother fucker. Is there no Tennessee board you can go to and spew your garbage?

^ eat a cock you stupid faggot bitch. ONCE AGAIN, for the 100th time, I didnt bring up anything about Tennessee, YOU did... and what does Brady beating Manning's record with a lot more pass attemps and playing a lot more have to do with this discussion you fucking toolshed. And, instead of saying I didnt think Belicheat would win, I in fact said:

Quote :
"fair enough, I think he will win it too, just saying I wont ernie my pants if McCarthy does"

god damn i hate stupid fucking ignorant cunts that try to talk shit when they are fucking clueless

Manning still has the single season QB rating record from 2004.

^^ yes he does, and had a better overall season than Brady, just not the glamor record anymore, but once again, that has nothing to do with this discussion

so back to being civilized, I don't see how GB's coach can possibly be considered with BB in the equation? Especially after GB got blown out by the terrible shitty Bears. It just doesn't compute to me when a coach went 16-0 in the same year.

Brett Favre
Charles Woodson
Al Harris
Donald Driver
Greg Jennings
Bubba Franks (think he was injured though, not sure)

and lest we forget, Jon Ryan.

now name me 3 stars on this years Bears squad.

and who cares, the Pats were 16-0, and by that I mean they didn't lose a single game. It's a stupid argument.

i dont know if i'd classify driver or jennings as stars.... My point is that green bay isn't a stacked team by any means, and yet they had an outstanding season compared to last year.

Devin Hester
Brian Urlacher
Lance Briggs

By your star standards
Bernard Berrian
Robbie Gould

Fisher's a terrible coach. I don't care if everyone and their mother disagrees, I still think he's a terrible coach. He is pretty funny on the radio, though.

The second string tight end that's missed most of the season and the punter? Well, that's all the star power a team needs!

Regardless of his touchdown stats, Driver is probably the most important part of the offense not named Brett Favre.

Bonds was indicted by the Federal government, Belichick not so much.

^^ i know this doesnt transfer to how good at coaching you are, but side-note, Jeff Fisher is also one of the nicest, standout guys I've met in person. (He lived nextdoors to my best friends, growing up). Very active and supportive in the community, and has a good family. Again, i know that doesnt mean squat in a discussion on COTY, but, thought I'd throw it in just for knowledge.

Back that up in any way. One of the longest tenured coaches in the league, has been to the superbowl and built up a terrible team that was AWEFUL when he took over, they had a great run for a few seasons, then major salary cap issues forced them to not be able to sign anyone(keep in mind he isn't the gm, so that wasn't his fault) and now he has the team back in the playoffs again, when they probably shouldn't be contending for another 2-3 years. Keep in mind he didn't want Vince Young yet has managed to take the WORST starting qb in the league and get into the playoffs. Like I said I know he won't win it but he did a top 5 coaching job this year. BB wins anyway so it doesn't matter.

How many teams did the Titans beat this year that finished the season over .500?

Two. One was the Jaguars in Week 1, the other was the Jim Sorgi-led Colts in Week 17 whom they still barely beat.

How many teams did the Titans beat last year that finished the season over .500?

Two.

2005? None.

I've seen him make any number of bad decisions during games and I don't think he should be praised for managing to win out of conference games against complete shit teams. You'd have to fuck up real bad to not make the playoffs after playing against the Chiefs, Oakland, Texans twice, Jets, Atlanta, and Carolina.

OK I know that A-hole from the pats is going to prob win it.....but what I am saying is if you put another coach with the Pats and maybe they go 14 - 2 or even 13-3...but you put some one other than McCarthey with the Pack .....or Gibbs with the skins then I think they are both 500 teams that don't make the playoffs.....That is why I am hoping one of those two win it instead of Belichick
