and LSU hasnt played much defense because of injuries the last few months but we shall see



and there is a point where the defenses are SO good that they setup the offenses for easy scores (turnovers in the opponents redzone, turnovers returned for TD's, blocked kick returns etc.)

well that 1999 Final Four was vacated b/c tOSU cheated. they had some of the best young European players on their roster that could barely write and speak English getting A's in their classes b/c they were having people write their papers for them, as well as giving them blank checks whenever they needed money. before then they hadn't been to a Final Four since 1968.

main reason I have a feeling Ohio State could win is that it would be too easy, too clean, if LSU wins and college football always seems complicated and muddled nowadays. If LSU beats their ass then everyone would be like "blah blah, cant deny that the SEC is much better, much faster etc" and no one would really be able to say shit about it and that would just be too clean. Seems like college football always finds a way to keep debates going...

A similar example is Cal/Tenn the last two years. Tenn beat the living shit out of them last year, but I had a feeling going into this years game that it wouldnt happen again, because then everyone would be like "there is the proof that the PAC-10 outside of one team isnt shit" and once again, what happened? Cal beat Tenn pretty damn bad and the debate can continue.

I hope LSU beats the fuck out of those retarded knuckle-dragging, sloped-brow Slavs, Polacks, and Wops but that would just be too simple

^yeah but then Cal sucked it up for nearly the entire year after a hot start. good teams have hot starts, great teams like the USCs, the LSUs, etc. can sustain those hot starts. see Florida last year. they came in to Auburn and suffered a hugely disappointing loss, but rather than dwelling on that and allowing that to affect them for the rest of the season they regrouped and went back to business and continued on to the national championship.
