Well, I-40 does dead end about 80 miles from LA.....

PAC-10 is getting better and better every year. If everyone that is figured to enter the draft this year does so, I can think of seven players off the top of my head that'll be first rounders, maybe more after the year unfolds.

Herb's record to date at ASU this season has absolutely nothing to do with the quality of the PAC 10 vs. the ACC. Conference play hasn't really gotten underway yet. Take out the Michigan State game for NCSU and the schedules are pretty similar.

The biggest difference in the PAC-10/ACC for Herb is that his days of playing for a conference championship are done for a long time. If you asked him right now, he'd be thrilled with a third place (tournament) finish at the end of this year and fourth in the regular season.
