This one confuses me whenever I'm at the Cameron Village HT, because there are no cart returns. None whatsoever. Now, I know it's not a very large parking lot, but it seems like this actually encourages people to leave carts in parking spaces, on medians, etc.
Though I always bring mine back down to the store, 90% of the time I'll park it on the sidewalk rather than going the extra 15 steps to put it back in the vestibule where it actually goes. 1/9/2008 2:49:44 AM |

Well, there *are* trash cans, they're just not obvious. But most experienced Bojangles' eaters, myself included (as long as I've been in Raleigh, I've probably been to the Western Bo 200+ times), know to leave it on the table. Someone will swoop down to take it away almost immediately, unless it's a very slow day or they happen to be extremely short-staffed.
There is still 2 trashcans you can put it in on your way out to save the nice mexican lady some time. 1/9/2008 2:50:43 AM |

Yes, but it's her job to take the trash off those tables. I don't feel I'm doing her a disservice by failing to do her job for her. This is similar to my not bagging my own groceries when I go to the store. I've had folks try to guilt me into it, but one of the things that is included in the price of my groceries is the salary of the bagboy who bags 'em up. I do not feel that it is necessary to "save" him (or her) from doing what they get paid to do.
Does that make me an asshole? I wouldn't think so, but...1/9/2008 3:00:52 AM |

OK, first of all, any woman that looks down on Bojangles is not fit to receive my seed
That's just how it is
Secondly, someone there is paid to put away my tray. Meaning that they have a job, or at least a shift, because I leave my dirty tray out. So I leave that fucker out there as part of my solidarity with the working class. 1/9/2008 4:44:52 AM |

just like at mcalister's, there's not really table service, but you leave your stuff on the table
just do it and don't worry about it
don't feel guilty, if you do leave a dollar 1/9/2008 5:08:38 AM |

I leave it on the table but I usually feel bad about it even though I know I shouldn't and that it is their job. I have an overactive conscience though and I making myself a burden on others. 1/9/2008 10:12:41 AM |

If you go through the drive-through, though, you're not really acquainted with this
I think I've eaten in a b0j0s three or four times ever. I am typically always, because I can't think of any exceptions - getting dinner on my way home late at night - getting breakfast on a saturday or sunday morning - getting lunch
The first two situations, I'm usually getting food for someone who has chosen to stay at home. The latter...well, I just like eating in my house.

In my hometown, we always clean it ourselves. On Western I used to try to do it myself, then end up leaving it on a different table when I see the girl standing in front of the trashcan. Now I leave it there. 1/9/2008 10:26:35 AM |

I've been in a couple Bojangles that aren't like this. The Bojangles between Waldorf, MD and DC has normal fast food trash bins at the doors that remind you to please clean up. I remember eating at another one somewhere in Virginia that was the same way, but I can't remember where. I want to say it was in Winchester, VA.1/9/2008 11:15:11 AM |

if the doors hiding the trash cans are open and nobody is in the dining area i will usually dump my shit in there.
otherwise i wont.. i like to think of it as marking that table as dirty so the person cleaning up knows to wipe the table off.. well, that and i know how bojo's works (leave your shit) 1/9/2008 12:01:50 PM |

Haha, Maryland man?! If I ever end up in some yankified bojangles like that I'm still leaving my shit on the table.

This is how i see it.
If they wanted us to clean up there would be trash cans everywhere like every other bojangles, or fast food joint.
But they dont, so i leave it. 1/9/2008 8:54:01 PM |
