Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon (production version)
I wonder if they will make a CTS-V Wagon.
They are making the CTC-V, however. That's the V version of th CTS Coupe.

Damn, those are some THICK D pillars! And no windows for the back area, kind of strange for a wagon. 8/15/2008 12:09:59 PM |

Yea I'm not really a fan...I wish Cadillac could just nail down their design "language" or whatever you want to call it and stick with it for more than 8-10 years. 10 years from now, this car will look like ass.
^No kidding about the D pillars...looks like the sun roof is over the passenger seat?

Well give them a chance. Their only official design language is the one you see on their cars now, and is called "Art and Science", and it debuted 5 years ago with the CTS.
Now it is found on the BLS (Europe-only model smaller than the CTS), CTS, STS, SRX, XLR, Escalade (they need to change the name to be consistent), and the DTS, which is being discontinued.
I am sure they will stick with it for another at least 3 years.
Considering how all car companies come out with slicker and slicker cars every year, a contemporary non-slippery design is actually a breath of fresh air.
Their design language is best exhibited on the STS, where it looks less edgier than on the CTS, as the STS is longer, and so, looks smoother.8/15/2008 12:43:38 PM |
