So after playing through the first little bit, I can safely say: if you enjoyed the original Ninja Gaiden, you're going to enjoy Ninja Gaiden 2.

It's so very, very violent and looks great while doing it.

Holy fucking hell, beat Genshin in chapter 2, finally.

I suggest to anyone to upgrade the Lunar Staff before getting to this point.

Then block and dodge homeboy, and slip in attacks after he unleashes a series of combos.

how much harder is this game than ninja gaiden 1?

the first one was pretty hard, but the regular combat got pretty easy once you knew the right moves (XYXXXY)

it's pretty similar.

I'll hold off details until I write my review, but it's a lot of fun with very little effort -- except for boss battles.

Arrows until he flips over, then go beserk with your sword. I think arrows to the face do the most damage initially, but don't quote me on that.

Ha, since when are boss battles in Ninja Gaiden not a bitch? I died AT LEAST 5 or 6 times on each boss. Except the final one because I was stingy with my potions and I had like 5 max health things and 7 normal health ones when I fought him.

I actually sold my DMC4, it got old.

This, I think, is similar in game style. But it's bloodier, harder and the moves look cooler.

I played through at least half of DMC4. I enjoyed the parts where you were Nero a lot, though when you became Dante and started backtracking I lost interest. Part of this might be that I used the Devil Bringer nonstop and then they took it away when you become Dante.

I've enjoyed the 3+ chapters I've played of Ninja Gaiden 2 more than I enjoyed the same portions of DMC4, so take that for what it's worth.

I'm only on chapter 3, but I must say that this game is the shit. They finally fixed the fucking camera from NG1 (right stick actual controls it now rather than going to a FPV). There are more enemies, the combat looks more badass, and the weapons are awesome. Claws FTW.
