I've never watched American Idol... and usually been anti it, but started watching this season and I must say I have been extremely entertained.

I would say the black chicks did better...also, one of the blondes reminds me of the blonde on "Girls Behaving Badly"(the one that was on the right side of Ryan when the two blondes were shown on each side of him at the end).

The two young guys are the best for the guys, overall, I think the guys were better.

guys were def better. that 17 yo guy is the best i feel like. that one guy that sang first last night was pretty good too. but yea, the girls suck. even the girls they liked, i thought they sucked. maybe the genre gave the girls trouble? i dunno. some of the people picked awful songs (i mean for singing in this competition and for their voices)

edit: i'm just finishing watching. what? that last girl was good i guess. she was just boring. i guess it was the song. the guys i liked were the first guy, the last australian guy, dreds guy, and the 17 yo. i just don't know about any of the girls. go simon.

So, Michael Johns, Carly Smithson, and Christy Lee Cook have previously had recording contracts. I figured Michael and Carly at least had sung in a band. Seems a bit unfair for the other contestants to be competing against former professionals, but apparently it isn't against the rules. They just can't currently have contracts.

that david archaluta guy (the 17 year old) is like, so good. the other guys can't even compete with him. i don't know if he is a "pop star" though. seems kindof clay aikeny (except way more likeable and better), but still...seems like mix 101.5/mom music. but he does have a great voice.

man, i swear Simon is the only one that has any sense on that show.
WTF was up with that last girl - "all by myself". She flat out sucked. Randy and Paula gave her some feel good BS, but Simon told it like it is and of course got booed by the idiot audience and got pushback from the other judges.

oh god i know (i'm just now finishing watching). she TOTALLY failed singing that. most of the girls suck. i kinda like that brooke girl (the you're so vain girl) just because she's catchy and doesn't suck AS bad as the other people. the girls don't really have anyone that can really sing. i guess neither do the boys. that 17 year old guy is still def the best.

the guys were pretty good tonight. David A. was pretty damn good and so was the guy with the dreads. Paula once again embarrasses herself.

Luke can go, he sucks... and so can the Danny kid who is gay extreme.... I think he plays that shit up but that's not gonna net votes.
