Northwestern went to the Rose Bowl in... I think '95 and i think Vandy won the SEC once or twice in bball in that timeframe too..

i've been thinking about this question, and what was our turning point to suckiness. well, i'm just going to throw this out there and see if it sticks. i know that NCSU is perceived as a 'redneck, moo-u' type of school. i mean, if you were a great athlete, would you want to go and perform for a bunch of 'rednecks', perform for the group that is typically perceived as racist? i think before we start getting the top of the line athletes, NCSU needs to change its image. i don't even know if this is possible, but its just an opinion. and to further this observation, carolina and walmart never seem to have a shortage of ncsu=redneck apparrel.
