What about all the mean things we say about important people - for instance, The President! UNC-CH is hardly as important as these people, but this is who they care about. I want to see someone reporting our views on the presidential candidates - someone who matters!

cartoons tend to be critical by nature, so whenever we feature President Bush, it is usually to criticize a particular policy stance of his, e.g., expanding domestic socialism, advocating a Palestinian state (see here), showing deference to the U.N., etc. But this cartoon shows what we admire about him -- his willingness to use force to protect America from its enemies. the charlotte observer is probably one of the worst newspapers in the country, so who gives a fuck what one of their reporters, who probably doesnt even get published regularly, says.
