just make purchases of helmets or sticks to save money. It'll cost you 25%, but it'll allow you to save up to make big purchases like defense upgrades.

i have yet to feel that kind of heat

i haven't figured out how to play this game totally effectivly, but people might be attacking you because you have a "large" army and they are insured of a large gold capture when they whomp your ass

also, are you hoarding your gold... probably best not to do that...

...

have you raised your sentry rating? best to have it so people can't see your gold right away

...

yeah i actually keep my sentry and defense rating above the average for my rank and purposefully slack on attack and spy because im just attacking players much lower than me most of the time.

i try to keep as little gold in the treasury when im online, but in 90 min of being offline someone can get like 100k+ out of me, thats why im getting attacked so much

yeah, it does suck...

but people frame it as a rudeness thing, but the attacking while a person is online is the most pvp part of this game

i tell people not to attact me while i'm online, but that mainly a psychological deterrent

i still take it as a personal affront, but I understand that it's part of the game and that if they understand that I really can't retaliate, then they're being the smart ones
