hahaha, no you right. but it just seems like such a random one to have as a guilty pleasure.

when a girl asks if you want to watch it do you play coy and act like you don't want to, but inside you are secretly giddy?

Princess Bride is just a good/funny movie. I don't think anyone would look at you funny for watching it and admitting to it.

After seeing "Sudden Death" on TV this afternoon, I'll have to add that to my list. Van Damme fights evil-doers who have taken the Vice President hostage in an executive sweet at Mellon Arena during game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals between Pittsburgh and Chicago. No one notices as the parking lot is blown up, a guy shoots down helicopters with a rocket launcher, or even at the end when the roof of the arena is opened. Luc Robitalle scores on a breakaway with 0 seconds left in regulation to force overtime in what would no doubt have been the greatest NHL game ever played. The game ends when the scoreboard explodes in overtime and then later a helicopter crashes into the ice. Oh, and halfway through the third period for no real reason whatsoever Van Damme comes onto the ice in Brad Tolliver's gear and makes the save of the game before punching a Hawks player in the face and getting ejected. Also featuring legendary Penguins play-by-play announcer Mike Lange. "SCRATCH MY BACK WITH A HACKSAW"

I don't understand why Executive Suite would be a guilty pleasure. It's a good movie.

Well, unless you are ashamed of watching old movies.

OK- there's nothing guilty about:
-"Escape from New York," though "L.A." might be a guilty pleasure
-"Sleepy Hollow"
-The Quick and the Dead"
-"Idle Hands"
-"Zoolander"
-"Surviving the Game"
-"The Goonies"
-"Club Dread"
-"joe Dirt"
-"Big Trouble in Little China"

These are all very good movies, and some of them are great.

A "guilty pleasure" is a movie that makes you BLUSH when someone mentions it - they're the movies that you don't want to admit that you really enjoyed. These are guilty pleasures:

"My Super Ex-Girlfriend" - didn't expect to laugh as hard as I did

"Bubble Boy" - looked so stupid, but somehow wasn't

"Monkeybone" - very fine absurdist humor

"B.A.P.S." - Can't even begin to explain how I liked this movie, not even to myself.

"Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion" - priceless.

"Ghosts of Mars" - other Carpenter films aren't guilty pleasures (all the ones mentioned are great), but I think this one is.

"Jonah: A Veggietales Movie" - booze and/or drugs+Christian vegetables = fun.
