Quote : | "Raleigh, N.C. - Seven home games and seven games against teams that advanced to postseason bowls last season highlight NC State’s 2008 football schedule, which was released this afternoon by the ACC. The Wolfpack will also play two Thursday night ESPN contests: at South Carolina to open the season on August 28 and at home against Florida State on Oct. 16.
NC State will play host to teams from the CAA (William & Mary), Conference USA (East Carolina) and the Big East (South Florida), as well as ACC opponents Boston College, Florida State, Wake Forest and Miami.
Also, for the first time in five years, NC State will face Duke on the gridiron. The Wolfpack and the Blue Devils played every season for 80 years (from 1924-2003 with a one-year break in 1944) before ACC expansion. Tom O’Brien’s squad will make the short trip to Durham on November 8 for the renewal of that series.
Starting Monday, season tickets will be on sale for Wolfpack Club members and NC State faculty/staff members who purchased tickets in 2007. Patrons can renew their tickets online at gopack.com. " |
