seems to me like hickson gets his, javi tries his best(he is the best PG we have) and then McCauley has passion as well.

Costner finished with 14. Not too shabby offensive output. Yes, defensively we would have probably been better off with McCauley though, and it seems like he wasn't cold offensively (3-6 for 6 pts. in only 12 minutes)

^ Saying shit like that isn't going to inspire the players he has now to play their hardest for him. It makes it sound like they're obsolete and he can't wait to replace him with his guys. If this was his attitude coming into the season, I can see why Costner and others would have a hard time adjusting. If your coach doesn't believe you to be a worthy contributor, it would be hard to not get down on yourself and continue to play your hardest.
