...for one of the most hilarious threads ever (the memphis vs. tenn one). Not for the premise but for the responses you provoked. Remember, this is the message board where folks wonder if State will "get a few votes" in the polls after a decent week, and now they're saying, in all seriousness, that the rankings don't mean shit. I, for one, have been looking forward to this game for weeks. #1 vs. (overwhelmingly likely) #2 just makes it better.

But will they be ranked #2 going into Saturday? they should be, unless for some reason they bump Carolina ahead of them... but they will probably be #2.
