If it stays the same as the Quinnipiac game, students are only allowed on the hill b/c all but the 3 last sections on the 3rd base side are reserved seating and then the last 3 sections are GA, but you have to have a ticket to sit there.

Clayton did a good job getting out of a couple of jams. Jake Buchanan came in and pitched 3 perfect innings. Hitting needs to wake up and base running really needs to improve. Hopefully we can salvage the series with tomorrow's game.

They tried keeping the students on the laws and the adjacent section. When students didn't even have room to stand and see any more around there they opened up another section or so. Hopefully they'll do that all season.

Wolfpack won today 11-10 on a walk-off 3-run home run from Matt Payne in the 8th inning. Apparently Miami had to leave to catch their plane and tried to call the game before the homer or at the end of the 8th, but Payne hit the homer and Russell Wilson came up to bat. Two or so pitches and then the Ump called the game.

Beat Towson 4-3 on a Ryan Pond walk-off home run in the 10th. Hitting was basically dead the entire game. Jeff Stallings loaded the bases, hit a batter which drove in a run. Rutter came in a got a sac fly and then another out making it 2-0 after the Top of the 1st. State allowed 1 run in the 3rd and then had shutout pitching the rest of the game. Towson had their "Ace" start today, so hopefully we can have a comfortable win tomorrow.
