Why all the hate for cops? Most of them enter the career because they enjoy the power trip that comes with arrest powers and having a loaded firearm at the ready. They don't do it out of a genuine desire to serve & protect the public, and most of them have an "us versus them" attitude, where they assume that every non-cop is probably guilty of something and should be treated with sarcasm and condescension.

I have absolutely no problem that this cop pulled the bus over.

I have absolutely no problem with this either. A few of my friends who are teachers all say the same thing, children / teenagers simply have no respect for or fear of authority. Making an example of this kid would have been exactly what was needed.


The problem is when the cop took it (apparently) personally instead of professionally.

The kid is probably a douchebag and most likely deserves a punch in the face, however it seem the cop is just as much of a douchebag. I say a good punch in the face all around is in order!

^^ seriously, I'm only 28 and I can't imagine the folks I went to high school with acting like this. Of course, I never dealt with a douchebag like this, but still . . . a cop is a cop.
