well she was probably thinking about herself and whats best for her kids. but i would have a) probably killed him or b) at least been like get the fuck away i'm not going to stand next to you like a trophy wife and support you. i guess maybe if you've been married 20ish years you'd give your wife/husband the benefit of the doubt. i don't know...the moral of the story is don't marry me, because i'm vindictive.

what makes it worse for me is the fact that his wife found out only b/c he HAD to tell her b/c it was going national anyway. it wasn't like he confessed in secret and sought forgiveness.
