JACKAL AND RYGAR WERE THE FUCKING SHIT.

I used to play this one game, and I have no idea what it was called, but you were in Disney World and there were about 6 different games you could play that corresponded to the different areas there. The one I remember the best was the game about Space Mountain where you had to push a certain button in a certain amount of time when it flashed on the screen. It was crazy hard.

Tecmo Superbowl was probably the game that changed football games because it kept stats and had injuries.
Sometimes I would play an entire season of Tecmo Superbowl in a day.

One of my very favorite NES games of all time. Conflict was a turn-based military strategy game which depicted a sort of Nato vs. Warsaw Pact conventional war (no nukes). You could control ground and air units, from infantry to jets, each of which had a paper-rock-scissors element to it.

I can still clearly hear the "combat" music playing in my head.

I'll second Hoops, Ducktales 1&2 and Rescue Rangers. Those are "lesser known" games, IMO. However, Tecmo Bowl is the fucking opposite of lesser known, unless you consider Mike Tyson's Punch Out to be a rare-find.
