i'm gonna go ahead and declare khcadwal as the winner

radhar, sorry, you lose bad. if my waitress gave me a free app for everytime i had to wait a ridiculous amount of time... she would've gotten a 20% tip + the price of that app for her tip

^^ can you read? Where are you pulling this hypothetical situation of a free app?
who accidentially puts 13 dollars in as their tip when the meal was 12.50? I have served long enough to know this isn't 'accidential'.
Winner or loser. I was just posting my irritation to chit. or perhaps, chat.

In this situation I would have given the waitress 20%. I wouldn't under tip her because she would have corrected the long wait situation by giving me the free app, which in all honesty is her job. I would have not adjusted for the free app because that was a consolation for my time lost.

"a. I waited tables for 4 years through college.
b. a week had passed and I was clearly overcharged.
c. 10$ or 100$ - it is wrong.
d. I always leave 20%. refer to point a.
e. stfu.
"

a. it doesn't show. if you waited tables so long it seems illogical that you would automatically accuse the waiter of trying to take money from you. and, if you waited tables so long, then it seems you would just assume some sort of mistake happened and attempt to remedy it before bitching and becoming accusatory.
b. you didn't say that in your original post. you said you had just checked your account. even if a week had passed, they probably wouldn't be able to correct the problem before being notified.
c. i don't care what you leave not everything in my post was directed at you. see: other posts in this thread
e. to summarize:

Quote :
"You have no idea if it was the server's fault or not"

Quote :
"Bottom line is that the problem was fixed without that much effort on your side. Something unfortunate happened, but the problem was solved with very little effort...why bitch??"
